Do I have to travel to Morocco to open a bank the account?

Can I open a bank account in Morocco without being physically there? I live in the US and I want to purchase have an apartment in Tangier. What's the process for getting a loan mortgage? Do I have to have a bank account to obtain the loan? Also do I have to travel to Morocco to open the account? Can I get loan from a bank in rabat Morocco while purchasing property in Tangier Morocco? Any other tips about getting a mortgage in Morocco? Thanks
