I'm 24 years old i make about 40k a year and i want to buy a house. I'm torn between getting a property to rent and getting a property to own. I want to buy a house by the time i reach 27 and i don't know if it would be better to buy a fixer upper and rent or should i take out a mortgage and buy a nice house while i have extra money and no major responsibilities.
