Today we celebrate 83 years since President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Social Security into law.
And if we're not careful, Social Security may not have many anniversaries left.
The 2019 House GOP budget contained $4 BILLION in cuts to Social Security over the next decade. They're trying to cut money that our seniors need to live and thrive in order to pay for their tax scam.

Millions of elderly and disabled Americans rely on Social Security. It helps them cover the cost of rent, mortgages, groceries, and other necessities. It keeps millions of seniors from descending into poverty.
If Democrats take back the House, we will strengthen Social Security. Instead of having to fight off cuts from Republicans, we would be able to focus on putting Social Security on solid financial footing for future generations.
